I have worked on a variety of projects over the years ranging from simple programms like AI and physics simulations to fully fledged games for clients

Some of these projects have worked on in a group while the majority of them are solo projects

For group projects, i have picked up a ton of knowledge from past experiences which has helped me improve myself when it comes to working with other people. The most important piece of knowledge i have learnt is communication. Communication is key when it comes to working in groups as you need to convey your ideas and concerns to others. A team can only function when everyone coopearates, and with my past experiences I always strive to get the team working together as one to accomplish our common goal.

My Work

I am a game programmer who creates games for mainly for PC and Mobile, but am open to various other platforms as well

I studied at SIDM(School of interactive and digital media) in Nanyang Polytechnic through the years 2014 - 2017

I chose to pursue programming as i have always been interested in learning how different softwares work and the magic that goes on at the backend which makes everything perform as needed. Since i am a gamer as well, this interest was brought over to not only software but games as well.

The thing i enjoy most about programming and creating games is seeing your creation come to life after all the countless hair-pulling hours of effort that you have put into it. Seeing everything working as intended and the joy other people may get when playing the game gives me a great sense of satisfaction. 

​

With industries changing constantly, not only the gaming industry, i am always open and willing to learning new things to expand my knowledge and apply my existing skills to new problems. This attitude has helped me improve myself and get the knowledge i need to advance, and not just stay stagnant at the same level.

 

I have worked with several game engines over the years but the one i am most proficient in and my personal favourite is Unity3D.

Unity3D is my go to game engine as it offers a wide variety of features and an easy to use interface. Scripts can also be used which provides a lot of flexibility in allowing users like me to create complex games with diverse game mechanics.
